ARVC Releases 1st Round of Board Election Results, AGS to Represent Supplier Council

The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) has announced the results of three elections — Supplier Council Representative and Partnering State Representative, both positions that serve full terms on ARVC’s Board of Directors, as well as the Social Chair for its Young Professionals Group. Voting in the elections was held completely online between Sept. 25-Oct.25, according to ARVC officials.

The winner of the Supplier Council Representative election was Michael Moore, general manager of AGS Guest Guides. This is Moore’s first term on the ARVC Board of Directors representing the ARVC Supplier Council.

“I’m honored to represent the ARVC Supplier Council and look forward to bringing its suggestions and feedback to the board in order to strengthen our industry and the national organization,” explained Moore.

The winner of the Partnering State Representative election was Kathy Dyer, executive director of the Maine Campground Owners Association (MECOA). This is Dyer’s second term on the ARVC Board of Directors representing partnering states.

“I think it’s important for the partnering state representative on the ARVC board of directors to be someone with an open, supportive and positive attitude, and have the willingness to work together as a team with our partnering states and the ARVC team to continue building the reputation and strength of the outdoor hospitality industry,” said Dyer. “I believe I will be instrumental in fulfilling this goal.

Thank you to my partners for believing and supporting me for another three-year term on the ARVC Board of Directors.”

The winner of the ARVC Young Professionals Social Chair election was Jacob Hagofsky, of the Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association (PCOA).

“The ARVC Young Professionals are an incredible group of leaders and the future of our industry,” says Hagofsky. “I look forward to working with this group and our current leaders to continue our growth and success. I plan to help see our continued goals through while hoping to bring new ideas and tasks to the group. Here is to great ideas, success and purpose!”

In addition to these three elections, ARVC is also holding elections for four area representative board seats this year in Areas 2, 3, 4 and 6. Online voting for these elections ends today (Oct. 28) and final in-person voting will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at ARVC’s 2021 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) in Raleigh, N.C.

Winners of those elections will be announced on Thursday, Nov. 11 at ARVC’s annual membership meeting at OHCE2021.
