AGS Partnering With Anderson’s Brochure Service

Crowley, Texas-based AGS has good news for park operators.

According to a press release, effective immediately, they can now use their AGS loyalty dollars to distribute their guest guides and rack cards at RV, camping and travel industry tradeshows across the country. The new program is made possible through a marketing partnership between AGS and Anderson’s Brochure Distribution Service.

“We think this is a very valuable partnership for our customers,” said Brian Schaeffer, executive director and CEO of AGS, which negotiated the partnership with Pittsford, N.Y.-based Anderson’s Brochure Distribution Service during the weeks leading up to the major campground industry tradeshows.

“We are thrilled to work with AGS on assisting campgrounds and RV parks to promote themselves to increase awareness and visits to their properties,” said Don Bennett, a longtime campground operator and Campground Owners of New York (CONY) president who recently purchased Anderson’s Brochure Distribution Service with his wife, Lisa, from Joe and Jessica Tice.

Anderson’s has been promoting campgrounds and RV parks since 1981 and currently distributes literature to over 2 million consumers each year. Anderson’s plans to distribute promotional materials in 25 RV, camping and travel shows across the U.S. in 2018.

The announcement follows AGS’s announcement last week that its best guest guide clients can earn at least $300 a year in AGS dollars, a $50 increase from the $250 minimum that the company’s best customers have previously earned, with the max being $500 per year. The funds are used to purchase print and online advertising, as well as website hosting/design services and many quality of life programs.

AGS awards its loyalty program dollars to park operators who help AGS sales teams generate enough advertising to cover targeted costs of producing their industry superior guest guides. When this happens, as is usually the case, the park operator receives the guest guides for free, since the production costs are covered by the restaurants, urgent care centers, dog groomers, RV repair shops and other businesses that advertise in the guides.
