AGS Travels to Kerrville for Annual Meeting and Trade Show

AGS had a blast in Kerrville last week at the annual Spring Meeting and Trade Show. Our company attended the event to meet with prospective clients and talk about the services we offer.

agsThe Spring Meeting and Trade Show took place April 26 – 28 at Guadalupe River RV Resort in Kerrville. Before the show, Brian Schaffer, TACO’s EVP and CEO said there would be “more park operators and more vendors than we’ve ever had before.” This was an exciting show with plenty of entertainment, activities, speakers and presentations.

The event kicked off with a bus ride to Fredericksburg to tour the Texas Wine Country Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Fredericksburg. The park hosted a wine tasting room and a barbeque dinner. It was a scrumptious good time and that was just the beginning.

The keynote speaker this year was Craig Dietz, who was born without limbs. His motivational speech touched on redefining life potential, while drawing on his own experience. Other speakers included Mark Douglas, CEO of RVing Accessibility Group, who offered tips to make parks more inclusive to guests with disabilities.

TACO also hosted the annual auction, which raised funds for the company’s legislative and government efforts. Meeting with new customers and discussing potential business is one of the greatest benefits to attending these events.
